If a consumer chooses to return products, refund receipts should be used. To understand how to record a refund in Quickbooks, first pick New from the drop-down menu. Then, from the drop-down box, choose either Provide a refund receipt or Refund receipt. Indicate the bank account number. Fill out the PRODUCT/SERVICE area with all of the items or services that have been returned.
