Strongholds also double as the Lost Ark's player housing and Lost Ark Gold item crafting facilities. Once you have reached level 25, your stronghold acts as a base of operations for crafting, locating the latest tools and every day tasks. You can also decorate and live in your house like other MMO homes, but the strongholds at Lost Ark offer more than that.

The primary function of your stronghold will be to craft healing potion and other battle items for the final battle. If you don't wish to be spending thousands Gold purchasing consumables purchased from other players, it's best to build your own stronghold. You'll also get a variety of benefits for doing so for example, unlocking the ability to passively complete every day tasks and boost your alternate characters to level 50.

You'll be granted an encampment after you've completed your "Clerk Theo's Invitation" quest. The quest will be unlocked upon returning to Luterra Castle, an event that happens during the main narrative around level 25. Follow the quest line to gain access to your estate and its associated fast-travel song.

If your stronghold is not locked but it's not at its maximum potential. Additional options for your estate can be unlocked through completing quests that are obtained from your stronghold, finishing research projects and increasing the prestige for your strength.

To access your stronghold you must enter the musical sheet's menu (F2 on default). Select the "Song of Home and Hearth" to teleport to your stronghold. You'll be able roam your estate to access its many structures and features however there's a much quicker way to do this: press Ctrl + 1.
